Description of the tests and qualification ot the exercises

First exercise: The purpose is to show the general academic level and maturity of students and, in consequence, is designed to assess basic academic skills such as understanding of concepts, language ability and capacity to translate, relate, analyse and synthesise. This includes the following subjects:
a. Comments on texts and Spanish language. b. Foreign language: as chosen by the student (English, French, German, Italian or Portuguese).
Second exercise: In order to carry out this exercise, students must expressly opt for "Sciences" or "Social Sciences-Humanities" when completing their registration. Within the chosen option, students will select three subjects from the following in the exam:
Sciences Option: Mathematics I, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Geology and Technical Drawing. Social Sciences-Humanities Option: Literature, Contemporary History, Latin, Greek, History of Art, Mathematics II and Philosophy.
