The studies which lead to the obtaining of the official Master’s Degree shall have a minimum extension of 60 credits (1 academic year) and a maximum of 120 credits (2 academic years), and shall contain all the theoretical and practical training which the student needs to acquire: compulsory subjects, elective subjects, seminars, external practice, tutored work, final Master’s Degree dissertation, assessment activities and others necessary in accordance with the characteristics of each degree. The studies shall conclude with the elaboration and public defence of a final Master’s Degree dissertation, which shall be worth between 6 and 30 credits.

Students wishing to enrol for the Master’s Degree must be graduates from a Spanish university or a higher education institution of the EHEA, in which case the title must be sufficient in the issuing country for access to Master’s Degrees. Those students who are graduates from a higher education institution outside of the EHEA and who wish to carry out official Postgraduate studies in Spain shall require the following for enrolment:

· Official homologation of their degree in line with the Spanish degree which enables access to the Master’s Degree.

· Without the need for the official homologation of their studies, a check by the University in which they wish to carry out their studies that they possess the level of training equivalent to the corresponding Spanish degree, sufficient in the country of origin for access to Postgraduate studies. This shall in no case imply the homologation of the foreign degree, nor its recognition for purposes other than the carrying out of Postgraduate studies.
