Málaga University, through the Vice-Rectorate of Social Welfare and Equality, counts on an Accommodation Service for the different sectors of the University Community. Its main purpose is to provide orientation and advice to people looking for accommodation in our city, ensuring that their stay in Málaga is as warm and as pleasant as possible. This service is offered free of charge. The following types of accommodation are available: Flats available to let · Dwellings to let, with owners leasing either the entire flat or individual rooms. · Rooms in dwellings inhabited by the owner, who rents out rooms and lives in the dwelling with the tenants. · Rooms in a family house, where the owner and his/her family share their dwelling with the tenants, who rent the rooms. Programme of accommodation with senior citizens Another form of accommodation it is via the Programme of Accommodation with Senior Citizens, which allows students rent-free accommodation through sharing with a senior citizen, who in return receives company and help and collaboration in domestic chores.
