In addition to providing theoretical and practical education to all its students, Málaga University puts great effort into the dissemination of culture in all its manifestations.
Cinema, theatre, literature, painting, music… Málaga University continuously strives to disseminate culture in all its manifestations, both within its organisation and in its projection towards the outside world.
Through its Cultural Extension programme, the institution aims to continuously transmit a series of positive values which are considered fundamental for the personal enrichment of university students: respect, solidarity, equality, creative spirit and innovation, amongst others.
This interest in facilitating human development goes beyond the different collective groups of the University and reaches out to wider Málaga society, allowing people to take part in activities such as the Fantasy Film Festival, the Andalusia Audiovisual Fair and the different exhibitions which the general public can see at Málaga University Exhibition Room, located in the Rectorate building.
Other important activities related to music, literature, dance, theatre and digital culture, amongst others, are also organised within the University.
